When you get older it is common with long-lasting symptoms such as memory impairment, difficulties to concentrate, dizziness, tinnitus and feeling of tiredness. These troubles may be caused by impaired blood circulation that, apart from ageing, can have its origin in life style-related issues as sedentary work, inadequate diet, alcohol, smoking and lack of exercise.
Impaired blood circulation results in lack of oxygen in the body’s organs, since the oxygen is transported via the blood. The brain is particularly affected by lack of oxygen since the brain uses more oxygen than any other organ.
The Chinese temple tree Ginkgo biloba has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years and has well documented effects on the blood circulation. Gink-Yo contains the extract LI1370 that is produced from leaves from the Gingko biloba tree and may lessen life style and age related symptoms such as tinnitus, slight dizziness, fatigue, difficulty to concentrate and memory impairment. Contents per tablet: The active ingredient is the extract LI1370 (50:1) of Ginkgo biloba L. leaves 50 mg (corresponding to 12,5 mg ginkgo flavonoid glycosides, 3 mg ginkgolides and bilobalides). Other content: Lactose monohydrate 134 mg, aromaticum (vanillin), colourant (iron oxide hydrate E172), excipients. Recommended dose: 1–2 tablets, twice daily. The tablet should be taken with water in connection with meals. Pack: 90 tablets (equivalent to 22,5–45 days' consumption).
Warning! The effect of anticoagulants may be enhanced if Ginkgo biloba is used concurrently. Always contact your doctor if you use anticoagulants.
